Testimonials

  • We had the best time. Bob claims that this has the very best wheel chair shower that he had ever been in. The work that has gone into all the ramping down to the lake is out of this world. The last time Bob was this close to a lake was 15 years ago, because of his wheelchair. Thanks for everything!

  • Wow! We all had a great time once again. The sunset at the lake last night was amazing. The bonfire and smores were yummy! It rained one day, but it was nice too. We relaxed, watched TV. There were games, movies etc. and some of our gang even danced in the rain. The fireplace came in handy for roasting marshmallows on a rainy day. Wood was available and all free for our use. Our beds were all comfortable and it’s sure nice to have everything available, dishes, towels, BBQ, etc. The laundry facilities, game room and phone came in handy. We had a great time and look forward to next year.

  • I have enjoyed my stay here in the Wolf’s Den very much these past few days. Very peaceful, very quiet, very enjoyable. Everyone on the premises has been friendly and courteous which is very pleasant. Beautiful location here on Lake Shebandowan. Cabin is very spacious, and comfortable. Many conveniences provided (i.e. BBQ) which makes things very home-like. All of the extra amenities which are provided are much appreciated. I look forward to coming again at some point in the future. Thank you again!

  • We spent one night at the Wilderness Discovery Resort in the Wolf’s Den and had a great time. The facilities were great. We enjoyed going swimming in the lake and would like to thank the staff for any assistance. It was Rob’s first time in a lake in 15 years. The temperature was just right after 5 minutes. At night having a BBQ on the deck was great… To top the evening off we were able to take in the peaceful sounds of the water at the dock and then have some smores over the campfire! A big thank you to the friendly staff! What a wonderful weekend.

  • Had a great weekend. Fishing was great, pike, bass, and walleye. Some with worms and some with minnows. Nice quiet, peaceful, so relaxing. Can’t wait for next year.
